Location: Okay, Parking: Okay, Service: Okay, Mom and Pop store: Yes, Overall: Of all the years I lived in LaVerne, this is the first time I have been at this place. It is small and does have many grab and go items that a franchise Quickstop may have. But I did like the fact that it is a Mom and Pop still trying to make a living. That itself was worth buying something. From what I read on the Window, they also own the only drive thru dairy left in the City. With so many things changing ( and not all for the good) it would be sad to see this disappear. Just for the heck of it, I am gonna make an effort to buy more from them just to keep the doors open...

Some prices are great. But 4$ for a small push pop ice cream. Really? Why. Also on some things they don't have set prices and depends on who is working the price will always be different

Come here for my lotto tickets. Staff here are nice, usually no line, but if there is one it moves quickly. Prices on items here are about what you would expect.

Ive had several problems with this place over the past few months but today I feel the need to write about it.

A few months ago a man who was running the register shorted me on my change, I didnt realize till I had gotten home and had no real way to prove it. I shrugged it off assuming I made a mistake and it was my fault.

Today on the other hand I had it happen again and I caught them this time. I cut the loss it was only a dollar but they lost business from me forever and several people who live with me.

I hope the owners read this, con artists.
Enjoy the free 1$, you lost a lot more from me than you gained by your petty ass theft.

Convenient, quick, super friendly and helpful couple that own this store. Wish you luck and really personable. I go mostly for lotto and scratchers. Really worth the stop.
