I called Brandi to see if she would be able to "correct" my hair color and cut. I had been going to someone else for several years and over that time, my hair was becoming more and more brassy. Also, the cut was more choppy and was hard for me to style. Brandi took me in and did a consultation. She listened and carefully examined the situation. Then she went to work....
The results were amazing! I was hoping to find a stylist who "gets hair". Brandi definitely has a knack for color. My hair came out wonderfully and I have not felt this good about my hair in years! The cut will grow out well and Brandi gave me styling tips.
Brandi is very hard working and was a delight to meet.
If you are looking for someone that (pardon the pun) is a cut above all the rest-look no further!

Visiting from Seattle and I was lucky enough to get in with Emma! Such special treatment with care, knowledge and advice. It was a pleasure to be in her positive presence and I left feeling better about my hair than I have in a very long time. I can’t wait for my daughter to have a consultation with her next week.

I did a makeup and hair trial here for my wedding. The makeup was done by the store owner Brandi. The final makeup did not look good I am sorry to say - and the process and experience to get there was harsh. Brandi did not take well to feedback and was defensive. As a makeup artist, she only brought a single eyeshadow palette. She did not strike me as a professional makeup artist and seems more comfortable doing hair - which is fine, but I would have wanted to know that going into it instead of wasting money on a trial. I also got my hair done by a stylist there named Ari. She was suggested to me by another salon. She did a great job on my hair and I did end up putting a deposit down for services for my wedding. However, her behavior towards me and mom in the following months leading up to the wedding was unprofessional at best and abusive at worst. I don't know what I did to piss her off so much, but she berated both me and my mother over text for being "too particular." Over a 4-month span I sent her 3 reference photos and texted her maybe 5 times in total. 3 weeks out from my wedding I had to find alternative hair services because of her attitude. I would have been sabotaging myself on my wedding day by working with her... I thought about not writing a review and moving on - but I don't want someone else to have a similar experience, especially on their wedding day.

This is long overdue, I just recieved my photos from our wedding last month (October 5th, 2024), which is why I remember that I wanted to post a review here. I just wanna thank Brandi, Ari and Hailey for doing such a great job on make-up and hair for me (bride) and for my team (4 non-brides). They really took good carr of us while we were in the salon. 10/10 would definetly recommend Brandi and her team!!! Thanks again you guys are the best!!!

I’m so glad I found this little salon! It’s beautiful and both the manager and employees are amazing! I had my hair done by Rubi, and she did a beautiful job with my highlights, as well as making it a very relaxing experience 🙂 I had Rubi also do my husband’s keratin treatment and his hair has never looked better… highly recommended this salon!

Brandi (the owner) is not only a hair guru but she has a heart of gold! She squeezed my mom in for a haircut a few days after a we had a family emergency. My mom has thick short hair and Brandi knew what she was doing. My mom left the salon feeling heard, confident and excited to return. Book a haircut here, you don’t regret it!!!

If your in Monterey for a wedding, special event, or just want to look a little glamorous this is the spot! The owner Brandi is amazing! She did make up and her gal Ruby did the hair. I made the appointment about 2 months back and ended up canceling the trial after sending Brandi some pics and assured me that she can do the style/makeup. The makeup Brandi used on me was light and didn't feel greasy or heavy on most importantly is stayed throughout the night. The two who styled me were so friendly and made the time fun! They take there time with each client keeping the focus directly on you! The atmosphere, environment and feel of salon is classy, trendy, clean and professional! I had some nerves for my wedding and felt amazing and confident walking out!

Brandi and her co worker were very sweet and they made me feel at home. The makeup came out great. However I just don’t think they have enough experience with working with different types of hair. I have long thin hair and the stylist had a really hard time styling my hair. I asked for a half up hairdo and she used a bunch of pins and nothing else. By the end of my ceremony my hair was completely un done and the pins were everywhere. I think they need to use something better than just a bunch of pins. my mom had to re style the whole thing and her hairdo stayed up the entire night, so it felt like it was a little bit of a waste of time. My mom and one of my bridesmaids also ended up with burnt marks on their foreheads due to the hair straighter. They also took longer than they stated and I ended up being late to church and my wedding almost got canceled. Again they were very nice but for the price they charge I felt that the hair could have been a lot better and maybe have a better strategy as to how to make sure they are done on time.
