This Ace Hardware is the largest that this hardware customer has come across. Nestled in the center of Shelby County I stopped in to grab a chuck key for my Craftsman drill on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving only to find the doors locked and a note saying that this location would close at noon to start their annual Thanksgiving celebration. It was only 11:45 so I looked for another door with no success. As I approached the front door for the second time, the door opened and the lady looking at her watch asked what I needed. She quickly pointed in the direction of the chuck keys which was a site for sore eyes since the nearby Walmart had none. I grabbed the chuck key and was out in a flash. Thanks for your help and great selection of hardware. Handicapped parking was not observed but there is plenty of room in their spacious parking lot for handicapped accessibility. The store itself is easily accessible for handicapped individuals.

Always shopped here over the years, bought weed eater, chainsaw, registered for wedding, stuff for house and yard, etc. a year or two ago they posted a “no public restrooms” sign, which is there prerogative, but no way would I ever give my money to someone that thought so little of me as a customer. I did about a 200k remodel and addition in the last year and was sure they didn’t get any of it, and sure to tell my whichever contractors we hired not to shop there, started going to Covingtons and Borders instead which usually has what you need and nice people, hell you can even pee there if you need!!! Was reminded off this today when I need a piece of conduit and had a trailer and decided to break down and stop in out of convenience, saw the sign and it re made me ill again, went out of my way and crossed traffic to go to covingtons only to spend 12 dollars. Shame on Ace!!
