The service seems to be going downhill. I am a former consultant for Aesop and was told by the online store to come in to exchange a broken gifted fragrance since the spray nozzle stopped working halfway into the bottle. The sales consultants told me that there was nothing they could do since it was a gift, and that the bottle was already “well loved.” They didn’t even attempt to look up the transaction. I repeatedly asked if there was just a replacement pump they could give me. They told me that I can get a “cheap decanter on amazon” instead. Eventually on my third ask, they were able to find a pump from a tester fragrance to fix the issue. Our policy was always to replace broken items as a goodwill gesture and to try to find solutions for our customers. I originally came in with the intention of getting a handful of holiday gifts for family and colleagues, but left after this interaction. I’m not sure what’s changed since I’ve worked there, but this was a usually poor experience.

Went in to try their new scent, virere, and Vanessa was so sweet and helpful to both my partner and I! She showed us some other similar scents too but we just had to leave with virere I love it so much. I’m looking forward to returning.

An impressive array of health and beauty products for men and women. Luckily the staff is knowledgeable and ready to help you navigate the product lines based on needs and interests. Generous samples available to try ancillary products that will complement your purchases. The products are developed using ingredients found in nature. The store itself is cleanly laid out, including a sink area to test products. Personal favorite: Resurrection, rinse free hand wash. Use it love, have given the travel size as gifts. People smile when I've offered it in restaurants the scent is light and clean, leaving your hands soft.

If you want to buy something from Aesop don’t go to this location. They are stingy and did not ask for customers preferences. There is a male employee here who gives off a “I’m better than you” vibe and only gives 2 samples where as I have received more from other locations. The thing that really peeved me, is he sprayed my bag with a scent that I did not like and didn’t even ask me what scent I would prefer. So my car smells like a musty male scent.

I like much more the one at the Jackson street San Francisco! I buy hand and bath wash gels from their stores often and get a nice service. I asked for an extra sample on the new face product at the Fillmore location and received a harsh no answer 😒 did not feel loved.

Look, if you're paying $75 for a hand soap you want it to feel like a luxury experience - which is what l this store consistently achieves. The employees here are freaking amazing. So knowledgeable and no matter how busy they are, always willing to engage in conversation to get you exactly what you want. We love stopping in and appreciate how consistent the service, stock, and hours have been.
