My mother and grandfather stayed here their last couple weeks of life and they both loved that place . I couldn’t speak higher of a facility than this one. Every room is a large private room with a large built in living room for guests to stay. There’s even a play room for little ones. I plan on buying memoriam bricks to go along the walkway there.

The staff went above and beyond for my husband and my family who was going through the worst experience of our lives and my husband was able to write and express how much he loved the atmosphere and care recieved at the Androscoggin Hospice House. Words really could never express the gratitude we have for all the care,advice,and patience we all received from the doctors,nurses,cooks,cna's,housekeeping,and the social workers involved made the experience so much easier for me and my children! And my husband absolutely loved the scenery and peaceful environment. He loved sitting outside and watching the birds,squirrels,chipmunks,groundhogs,and even a skunk. We even had our only family pictures ever taken right out front and around the beautiful flowers. We were so happy to have such an amazing keepsake before his passing.

Beautiful place with fantastic loving, caring people. They help you at every turn. Weather your having a good day or a bad day. The only thing I could criticize is the attentiveness to the quadriplegic resident, not patient, seems to lack a bit in attention. Not that I think they're able to do much more than they do. It's just not like at home. With all the COVID restrictions right now it makes it twice as hard. To stand at a window when your loved one wants a drink and can't get any attention to get one. We are towards the end of our journey now, so I'm allowed in to be with him. It's much easier now. I can take my place at his side where I should be. Thanks to the staff and friends here every day seems calm and reassuring. We all know what's going to happen but they make it just a little bit easier to get there. I want to thank the whole crew for being here for my Wally.

Recently my wife was in hospice care for about 7 days , what a staff. Each and everyone of them is unbelievable. I was treated like family and the care they gave her was the best. Sadly she passed away this morning and the nurses cried along with me.
