Absolutely in love with this place. The owner and the staff are so loving, friendly, warm and creative. The store is a dream!! Did a girl’s day with my friend and took their candle lotion class and it was such a special time. I live a couple hours away but plan to make it to their classes every couple of months. The decoration and the story of the store itself is truly beautiful. They share so much knowledge and it is very noticeable that they are passionate about what they do. Hope you check them out, you won’t be disappointed!!!

I attended the perfume oil class today and I had so much fun! We had so many yummy scents to choose from and I learned a lot about what goes into making a perfume. We also got a signature cup of tea with the class and I ended up buying a a bag of the tea I tried on the way out because it was so good! I can’t recommend Apothec enough. Truly a gem.

What a great experience 😃 the hot tea lattes (Blue Moon and Venus) were out of this world 🌎 incredible flavors!
I have never had anything like it.
The Persian Love Cake was so delicious 😋
Also so many other things to look at and smell. A beautiful and serene place to visit. Will definitely be back many, many times.

If you wanna have a unique experience where you create perfumes, will you sample different teas and a really cool environment come here. If you're looking for a cheap experience, this is not the place but stuff look like quality. They are Cary Tea and they even have some iced teas on tap so they have a sparkle to them.

An herbal dream! Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable staff. Beautiful selection of products. A delicious curated menu of beverages - teas, lattes, mocktails. Not to mention, the amount of cozy seating options. My new favorite place in Richmond.

Came originally for a Matcha, and stayed & explored for way longer. This place is absolutely top tier. The ambience is comforting, sensual & entirely takes over all of your senses. It's an all encompassing experience that I haven't found since I lived in Los Angeles. Phenomenal array of essential oils and beautiful perfumes- so many things to try and experience! And then there is the staff! Every single one was so kind, warm and welcoming, and we immediately felt so at ease. Honestly one of my most favorite shops since moving to Richmond.

BEST APOTHECARY EVER! I love everything produced in this shop from tea to body care to home products! You walk into the shop and feel transported to a different time. You feel the stress slowly melt from your body as you enjoy the cozy atmosphere, sipping a delicious tea, and sampling all the beautiful products.

Highly recommend adding Apothec to your next outing!

This place is a little piece oh Happiness that I am just finding out about. First of all I love all things tea and candle related so this place had me so excited to explore.
As soon as I stepped inside the door, I was like wow! . I didn't know where to look first. There were so many things to look at! (candles, facial creams, body scrubs, essential oils, a massage area) It smelled so sweet and smoky at the same time, but the best part is the cozy energy you feel instantly when you walk in.
The staff were very inviting, and explained everything so well. The owner took the time to share her journey and it made you feel her love for what she does.
We got to create our own signature tea - mine was chamomile, jasmine, vanilla green. Next we learned how to make a tincture to help with digestion and anxiety. Last but not least, we made elderberry. I loved learning how simple it is to make and to be able to take my concoctions home with me.
There was a lady who read my tarot cards - my first time, and it was interesting. I liked what she had to say.
The last little treasure of the room was a quirky set of stairs that led to a cozy loft area overlooking the room. It was giving earthy vibes and zen energy so much that I wished I had a good book and a blanket to sit down and read.
I look forward to going back soon.
