My husband and I had the most amazing date night experience at Banter & Bliss in the Brea Mall! We decided to try our hand at making our own custom candles, and it was such a fun and memorable activity. The staff was so warm and welcoming, guiding us through the process of choosing our scents, waxes, and even naming our creations.

I opted for a tropical, island-inspired scent that took me right back to our honeymoon in Hawaii, which I aptly named 'Tropical Love.' My husband had a more earthy, woodsy preference, so he named his candle 'Teak & Driftwood.' It was so special to be able to personalize our candles and infuse them with personal meaning.

Beyond the fun of making the candles, the overall ambiance at Banter & Bliss was just delightful. The space had such a cozy, inviting vibe, and we loved chatting with the other couples there, sharing in the experience together. It was the perfect date night activity - creative, interactive, and romantic.

We left Banter & Bliss feeling relaxed, connected, and with two beautiful, custom candles that will remind us of this special evening for years to come. I can't recommend this experience enough for anyone looking to do something unique and memorable with their significant other. Banter & Bliss is a true gem!

Came here with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and we had so much fun. Jaime, was super helpful and kind. We were able to take our time to pick our scents, colored waxes, gemstones, jars, and labels. It was such a fun date and hope to come again soon. Tip: park on the first floor next to JCPenney. The store is right next to it on the left hand side.

My friend and I went in today to the candle making class. Our instruction Monica was great! Monica was very helpful through each step. The whole process was really fun and I would definitely recommend this class to others. So many wonderful scents to choose from and colors!!!!

I did a candle making class with my sister at the Brea location and we had so much fun! Monica and Jamie immediately welcomed us when we walked in and were so friendly and inviting. Monica was our teacher and was so great- she guided us through everything from picking our scents to pouring our candle. You even get to pick a custom label and your own jar. I highly recommend Banter & Bliss if you want a unique, fun experience!

I went here for my anniversary, and we loved it! We were the first ones there. The store was well put together and very clean. There's a large selection of things to purchase from room sprays, crystals (in several different shapes), candles, bracelets, stickers, tote bags, etc. We did some shopping before the candle making class started. The instructor is knowledgeable, patient, and funny! I'd definitely go back even though I make candles at home!

NOTE: The store is on the main floor of the mall across from Sephora. Be sure to follow the instructions in the reminder email they send you because the mall is HUGE, and it takes time to find parking. So, if you can't find a park near where they suggest you park, you'll need to account for the time it'll take you to find a parking spot and walk through the mall to get to the store. A couple people were late to class and missed the first few steps in the process and had to play catch up.

Had a really fun experience going here to make candles with my mom for mothers day! The staff are helpful and informative about the process and ingredients for the candles. You also get to make a custom label for your candle, which I thought was really unique and awesome.
