JT is hands down the best Barber I've visited. Even with kids. Always up on the latest hair trend. Always motivated to take the next step...

He used to be in downtown sac but opened up shop in Rancho Murieta. He's still the only barber I see - the drive isn't so bad when the haircut is this fire.

This is a review for my brothers with a little bit of melanin in their skin like me or just tight curls in their hair! Made an appointment with Jacob for a Sunday. He did a great job mid fading my curly hair, and I am grateful I don’t have to make a 30 minute drive for a haircut anymore. This is definitely not Super Cuts or Great Clips, you will not have to go bald after the cut. He’s hilarious too, I will definitely be coming back!

Made an appointment with Jacob for my 10 year old son and he was extremely friendly, made my kiddo feel comfortable and included in choice of hair cut. Would recommend and plan on booking him again in the future.

I brought my very rambunctious 4yo (thick, straight blonde hair) and quiet 5yo (very curly, thin hair) to have their hair cut. This was, without hesitation, the best children’s haircut I have ever seen, let alone my children be the recipients of. I would highly recommend Barcode to anyone with an eye for perfection and high standards for grooming.
They engaged my boys with songs and jokes and then rewarded them for good behavior with a Ring Pop. They were patient with the wiggles and very gentle with the fade. The boys are eager to go back!

Have had both JT and Tyler cut my hair and a beard trim over my last couple of visits. Both are friendly and personable. Can’t go wrong with either. Been going to national chain for years and now am a loyal customer of Barcode. My father and son got haircuts last week and both will be back when a trim is needed. You guys are awesome!!

JT does amazing with our 3 year old! He is very patient with our son’s movements as he is learning how to sit still. JT has tricks up his sleeve to distract and help our son feel comfortable with the whole process. JT always makes sure we are happy with the cut. We’ve always been very satisfied with the end result. Our son always looks more grown up after his visit. Grateful to have a barber shop that is so close to home, very clean, and friendly staff. Highly recommend.
