This place is the best! It is stocked with everything you need --from injury recovery to elder care. Most importantly, the proprietor, Beth, has deep expertise in how to apply the item you purchase to get the best result. This is a rare gem of an establishment and so much better than online.

I broke my leg and had surgery, so unexpectedly needed to rent a walker, and then a wheelchair, and then a knee scooter. The woman here was incredibly helpful every time. She's awesome. Highly recommended.

She was my Christmas angel.
After a really tough December in and out of the hospital, I was in desperate need of something to cover my abdominal drain so I could shower.
I went in and was not expecting the cost of the materials and was just very overwhelmed. She was so kind and sent me home with exactly what I needed, some words of encouragement, and a really heartfelt hug.

This is my 3rd time renting from BCMS. I have rented wheelchairs and this time a mobility electric scooter. The service is quick and efficient. The scooter kept cutting out after a few days so they immediately brought a new one to my location and swapped it out with the one that wasn't working.
I will definitely be using them again on future visits to the area. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended for all accessible devices while visiting the bay area.

I am an advocate of buying from local brick and mortar stores. It's great to have a medical supply store nearby. And they measure you for your compression sock. But Bay City charged me $80 per pair of medical grade compression socks, which seems like an outrageous price compared to Amazon's $38 per pair. I am usually a careful shopper. Shame on me. Buyer beware.

As I was being discharged from the hospital, I learned that a piece of equipment that I was told would be provided at discharge, wouldn't be. In a panic, we started to call around to find what we needed. Not only did Bay City Medical Supplies in Redwood City have what we needed, but they stayed open late so that we could pick up what we needed on the way home from the hospital. I'd give more stars if I could!
