We always enjoy finding a City Market in our travels. It seems like there is always something we need, from a few snacks to a take-with picnic lunch.
City Markets are clean, including the restrooms, the staff is friendly and helpful and there is always parking. And since they are part of Kroger, Kroger brands, sales, bonuses, and points are useable at every store.
Update:
If you plan on doing a shopping that is more than you can carry, bring your bags. There is a charge if you need one at the check stand.

It's nice shopping somewhere other than Walmart. Wish the store was bigger for all of the shoppers, the isles get pretty congested. The employees are always nice and happy to help if you have any questions.

Always had a good experience until today. I decided to go to a cashier since the self check out line was slow. Cashier lady was hella rude, I genuinely said hello how are you and said nothing but she sure shoved the bag of ships and bread to me. She also offered the club card and so I gave her, her own attitude back in her face and I denied those club card's. I don't even live in Durango, my client hardly ever shops here and refuses the cards cause he has so many already. Guess what, she gives me a card anyway that is just gonna go right into the trash. ?

Helga is so rude in the checkout line that about a year ago I started using self-checkout out of fear that I’d get her as the checkout person.

Recently, they have upped the security anti-intelligence system so much that you can’t get through a few items without it asking the person standing there to come and watch a video of you not doing anything wrong.

I’m headed to Albertsons until they fix this. If the merger goes through, I’ll just switch to Walmart.

If you have a problem with stealing, hire more humans to stand there so they can a)watch people and b) be ready to scan the machine so we’re not all standing around like rotten bananas doing nothing.

I can not understand why the produce dept is so depleted. It seems to me that u would make a list of things that need to be stocked, stock them instead of filling things that r already full. The manager needs to be on the floor directing staff to better serve the store and it's customers. Also the sales r confusing with digital and city card. Just put it on sale, it's truly stupid

I was making a big fuss because I wanted mango sticky Rice but there wasn’t any sticky rice in the rice section. A grocer tried helping me but we still could not find any. A few weeks later when I went back they had ordered sticky rice! Super thankful—didn’t even have to ask ?
