This is my favorite pharmacy! Staff is always kind, helpful, and efficient. Prices are definitely more reasonable here than other pharmacies but I recommend Costco because of the great staff! Now that I’ve found it I’ll never use another pharmacy.

I’ve had trouble getting a hold of one of my prescriptions, which is in short supply. Although I live close to the Midtown Costco, their pharmacy techs have been unhelpful in ordering my medication. The Lenexa Costco techs, however, have gone the extra mile to check with their suppliers to confirm inventory so that I didn’t waste everyone’s time transferring my script to another pharmacy. When you’re used to having to spend 45 minutes calling every pharmacy in the metro to find what you need, finding staff who are willing to do more than the minimum required is an overwhelming relief. Thank you for your compassionate service amidst this exhausting medication shortage. 🙏🏻

Their prescriptions are almost universally super cheap (costing as little as 1/4 the price in some cases). The only reason I've ever had a long line is because of line jumpers who won't listen when the workers and customers tell them there's a line, and it's not like they can physically force them to leave. (Or when I come during the lunch hour, which is my fault.)

They text you refill reminders, let you know when they're ready, and tell you when they can't renew a script and you have to talk to your doctor. They also text to let you know when it's about to be re-shelved. I've had a couple times when I didn't get a text and it seemed to have been too long, so I just called them to ask. I hate talking on the phone, but they've always been lovely.

The best part IMO is that they are transparent about costs. Your text says the cost, and they've called my doc for me to see if they can change brands when the one they were given was $$$ if I asked them to.

They also have very inexpensive animal prescriptions, which rocks.

As long as you put in your refill requests ahead of time and avoid the pharmacists lunch hour, this is a great place to fill your Rx’s, especially if you don’t have insurance (ask to get on their program for people without Rx coverage: it’s free and gets you prices frequently lower than if you had Rx coverage!). Pricing is frequently lower than anywhere else and the service is friendly and efficient. Expect it to be busy, but with only a short wait time and lots of options to fill orders and communicate (sms, app, phone, in person), it’s super convenient.

Great Pharmacy. Busy, Busy, Busy. Low prices already. Good RX adds. I had a monster prostate surgery a few years back. They were filling one day and one week scripts. Good, happy, well-paid people make customers happy.

If you value your time DO NOT COME HERE! They may be the cheapest place in town for whatever your insurance does not cover, but you will pay for it in sub par service. They are famous for losing prescriptions and telling you that you are out of refills after your doctor calls them in and then spend half a day getting it sorted. I have never seen 8 people work so hard and still not meet their customers demands. If I could give negative stars I would!
