My usual guy moved to AZ(smart)

I googled same day knife sharpening services, and a few Ace locations popped up.

This was the closest location toy current location.

I was greeted by a friendly face, and had my knives sharpened by Barb.

The friendliness and professionalism that I experienced here could never be matched by a box box hardware store, ever.

I'm glad I found a new spot to have my knives sharpened. Also, the pricing was very competitive. $8.99/ knife, score.

I love our Ace Hardware !!! ? We’ve been shopping here for over 30 years. Even when the Home Depot opened down the street on Magnolia we still choose Ace to do our shopping, except for the rare occasion that there is something Ace doesn’t have. The Ace Team members like Linda, Dawn, Barbara, Minion and George are always super friendly and helpful !!! ?
I’d love to see Ace bring back the Popcorn Cart that used to be right by the entrance when you walked in !!! ?
I’d always grab a bag when I got there and probably bought more as I browsed around the store !!! ?‍♂️?

I visited the store today looking for an axle nut for a 30-year-old English bicycle. I never in a million years thought they would have the right size, but I was able to get two axle nuts that fit for a dollar each.

horrible costumer service, i was sad to experience it but i will be taking my money somewhere else. i made an online order for pick up when i was in town, went in to pick it up but the man who was in the back was helping someone already with a screen order, that i understood, he called for help one time, no one came immediately, that i understood too, but i stood there for 25 minutes before i just walked out disappointed how that was handled, and as i walked out i counted 3 workers in the store, and to mention the store was not busy. horrible.

update: BEWARE! if you dont pick up your online order dont expect ace to refund the money automatically, they ended up putting in their system that my order was complete even though i had never picked up my order, i had to call customer service and deal with that for 40 minutes... all of this was so frustrating.

Nice home improvement store that has the smaller feel of OSH. A good selection of items, though not as broad of a selection like bigger chains. But instead, they have a more diverse selection, carrying nice products like Bio-clean that you can't find at the other chains. Fewer people, so staff have time to help out.
On my color matching hell day, Ace was the only store that could provide me a quart of exterior paint that matched my sample close enough to use!
Home Depot couldn't match their own "Coral Mantle" after 3x attempts, neither could Lowes or Sherwin FV. Sherwin Beach could match, but didn't have any quarts of exterior.
So in the end, I couldn't get work done visiting the 4 other stores, but could after visiting Ace Hardware.
