Hace 5 semanas comencé a atenderme con el Dr. Don. Tenía el cuerpo todo inflamado, endurecido por el dolor, con un diagnostico de fibromialgia desde hace 10 años y últimamente artritis en las dos manos.
El efecto del tratamiento, el cual incluyo, acupuntura y ventosas, lo empece a ver al cabo de 1 semana. Y a lo largo de las semanas siguientes, la mejoría fue avanzando al punto que, ya no tengo dolor, me levanto con mucha energía, suspendí la medicación del reumatologo, y empecé a ir al gimnasio y pileta, cosa que antes era impensado.
El Dr.Don es una persona con mucha dedicación, respeto, amabilidad y conciencia en su trabajo y en el trato.
Muy generoso con su tiempo.
El ambiente es muy confortable.

5 weeks ago I started seeing Dr. Don. His body was all swollen, hardened by pain, with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia for 10 years and lately arthritis in both hands.
I began to see the effect of the treatment, which included acupuncture and cupping, after 1 week. And over the following weeks, the improvement progressed to the point that I no longer have pain, I wake up with a lot of energy, I stopped the rheumatologist's medication, and I started going to the gym and pool, something that was previously unthinkable.
Dr.Don is a person with a lot of dedication, respect, kindness and conscience in his work and in his treatment.
Very generous with his time.
The environment is very comfortable.
I am infinitely grateful for having contacted him. He helped me restore my health. 🙏

Maria is amazing. I went to see her for joint pain in my hands and feet, and am doing significantly better. The doctors diagnosed me with permanent arthritis (at 30 years old) and said there was no cure, just medication to help manage inflammation. Then, I started going to Maria and since have gotten 100% functionality back in my right hand and both feet. I went from not being able to do standard activities to being able to do everything normally again. It changed my life.

I highly recommend going to her. If you’ve tried accupuncture before and didn’t see results, it’s probably because you weren’t going to Maria. Her sessions are way more powerful, effective, and targeted than anyone I’ve seen before. If you have a need and want to get better definitely go see her.

We were SO impressed and comfortable with Dr. Maria! She was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and thorough. The office was clean/comfortable and the music was very soothing. Just had our first appointment and my wife (who had an initial consult and her 1st experience with acupuncture) has never felt better. She left the office feeling calm, lighter, relaxed, and completely pain free! She had such an amazing experience that it made me want to give it a try next. I would give more stars if I could! This was my first time going to acupuncture (although I've been to see Maria 6-7 times, now), and I went for severe pain my feet caused by neuropathy.

I "believed" in acupuncture but since I don't fully understand how it works, I was just hoping it would sort of... do something. Dear reader, my feets are worlds away from where they were! I was incredibly numb with burning, also prone to stabbing pain, I broke my toe last year and didn't even notice, I've been searching and search and searching for shoes (sandals have been out of the picture for about a year).

Enter MARIA! She is knowledgeable, really dug in to understand my symptoms, and has worked to put together a very effective care plan for me. After the firs time I saw such an improvement that if that was my feet for the rest of my life I would have been so happy! And it keeps getting better! I don't have enough good things to say. I've been recommending her left and right.

Earth and Air, as a business, is also wonderful. Their office manager, Laura is friendly, helpful, informative, etc. The office is pretty and calming, you can book online... I love this place. Go here.

I’ve been going to Dr. Maria for 9 months now and I like how she listens and connects with me. This helped me heal my body holistically and got rid of a low grade uterine cancer. My insomnia and bloating have improved, my bowel movement is now regular. I believe that every glands of our body is connected and accupuncture helps regulate the system. The clinic is also clean, warm and cozy.

First experience with accupuncture, rushed through---dismissed from their clinic after 3 visits!!!
I liked this clinic, I really did. But they fired me after 3 treatments. In a certified letter! Couldn't even have the DECENCY to call or email me. No, because they didn't want me to ask any questions, I did nothing wrong.
Their reason for letting me go was
"it wasn't a good fit". Real reason, the therapist Joy, didn't want needy patients, it throws off her juggling of multiple patients at once. She needs to slow down.
I likely wasn't a good fit with my therapist Joy, who has excellent skills by the way, at accupuncture. She is simply trying to juggle 3 patients in an hour. I asked questions, I had needs and called her back in my room. Silly me, for thinking that if I pay $100 for a 45 minute treatment, the therapist would stay in the room. She is very young, and was not skilled at hiding her irritation at being called in because I needed a pillow. Or the heat lamp was burning my skin. I am over 65, and had hip surgery, chronic dehabilitating pain for 5 years now. I was very scared to try something new.
I am elderly, had severe hip pain, and I was scared. Joy simply cannot cope with this, she is very young.
I have found a new provider, who gave me over an hour of her time, never left the room, replaced cups that fell off immediately, adjusted the heat lamp immediately, and tended to me.
I'm just saying, nice clinic, but Joy runs around like a busy woman. And their cupping equipment is inadequate, nor do they have enough of it. I'm not even sure if it gets cleaned between uses, at that pace that they are trying to herd people through their clinic. To make more money, obviously.
Again, had they not dismissed me, with an appointment pending, and in a LETTER, I wouldn't have said a word. They left me hanging, with no time to get another provider, and couldn't even level with me.
Not a good fit! Sounds like a shoe.
A place that cannot talk to you, or try to work with you, in person, is a place with something to hide. Choose your providers carefully. Accupuncture shouldn't be like a drive through. There should be time and care given to each patient, individually. I hope this helps someone.

Getting acupuncture with Maria has been life-changing! I've had chronic knee pain since I was a child, and have tried PT, surgery, taping, daily pain killers, knee braces, salves, etc to try to minimize my pain. Acupuncture is the only thing that's ever truly helped. It's also been great for menstrual pain (now non-existent) and nasal congestion.

I moved away from the practice with an insurance change and life without it was noticeably worse after several months. I'm so happy to be back!
