I'm extremely satisfied with my hair!
I've been to see Laura 3 times now. Once for a color correction, and a hair cut, and this last time, more blonde highlights that frame my face.
She is personable, professional, and knows what she is doing! I would refer anyone to go see Laura for a cut/color/style.
The salon is downtown redwood city across from Philz coffee and it is a beautiful salon. I felt very at ease there.

Laura has been giving me great haircuts for years, so I had to check out her brand new studio. Just enter Sola Salons from Broadway, and Firefly is immediately to your left.

The decor is charming. The experience (wash, cut, blow dry, etc.) was excellent as usual.

Laura always keeps me entertained with lively conversation. This says a lot, coming from an introvert who often prefers silence over small talk.

I honestly had such a great time spending my day with Tiffany. I can’t wait to go back! My hair went from red to PURPLE in just one day! I have already received a ton of compliments on my hair. I’ve been getting my hair colored for over 12 years and Tiffany here at firefly hair studio is by far the best hair dresser I have ever had the privilege to work on my hair. Never in my life has my hair been so soft, healthy, sexy and bright full of colors 🤟💚 I am in love and will never go to anyone else again as long as I live in California. Her skills with hair is not the only thing to bring me back either, her personality stood out to me first. Full of happiness and laughter , she just makes the whole experience that much better. I get my haircut by Laura. She does an amazing job. I have gotten my hair cut by her several times and she is so detailed and so precise (she does something called Precision Haircuts or something like that). I won't let anyone else cut my hair. I moved to the East Bay and I still travel all the way to Redwood City to get her to cut my hair. I always leave her studio loving my hair.

In addition, she taught me how to curl my hair. I know that sounds silly but I'm a grown woman who never learned how to curl my hair the right way and she taught me techniques how to create different kinds of curls. Ask her anything-she's full of tips, tricks, and ideas!
