Amazing experience! They show you your scalp, shampoo, scrape access stuff from your head, condition, steam and rinse, it is such a relaxing experience ! I did the facial and it was so good! Definitely going back!

I have to agree with everyone with how they feel. This place is amazing. I have never had a head/scalp treatment, so this was a great experience for me.

My technologist was Jenny. I got the Special Scalp Care with a birthday discount.

Before they get started, they have a microscopic camera so they can show your scalp in real time.
There is a before and after showing so you can see the improvement/changes.

The package I got was on the higher end, but it was also 1hr and 15mins. It was soo good.

Besides the scalp scrubbing, there is a massage of the scalp, head, neck and shoulders included.

Definitely a great experience and a place I'll come back to!

Very relaxing place and people there are so professional. I came back from LA for this New Year and since I drove here and helped preparing for new year right after that, I always felt stressed. But H2O helped me to relax. The environment is so nice with people who are patient. They explained everything to me and showed me my scalp before and after the care. You can definitely see the difference. I love the massage, it helps with my headaches. Recommend this place and I will definitely come back.

It's rare to find a high quality head spa place around here (short of driving hours or booking a flight to Asia), but after trying multiple places around the Bay Area I can say that this brand new H2O Head Care location in Pleasant Hill is my clear favorite, so much that I got a membership (there's a special promotion for 20% off everything from now until September 8!). Whether you've never experienced a head spa or are in search of a real one like what you miss across the ocean, I definitely recommend treating yourself and your scalp/hair here!
Some of their best professionals from the San Jose location are here (e.g. the very skilled Jenny and Nannan, who are justifiably popular!), they use top of the line and gentle ingredients (I have sensitive skin), and it was such a relaxing experience I almost fell asleep. I've experienced both the advanced care and the Chinese herb bath, you really can't go wrong. I had some neck strain that melted away during the neck/shoulder/back massage, I got to see the before and after close up imagining of my scalp health (so thorough and informative, it made me realize I wasn't washing my scalp evenly near the back), and the special components like the waterfall stream, hair steam, dandruff clean, and acupressure shampoo all worked together for a comprehensive boost of health and relaxation from the shoulders up. Jenny's care was warm and skillful, and an hour and a half later I left with a revitalized scalp, silky smooth shampoo commercial hair, no more neck tension, a complimentary comb, and some hugs from Jenny and Judy 😀
