Absolutely disappointed in this company! The lady up front lied about what my cost would be and after my exam gave me a total of approximately $178 more than what I was told... I am now being told what I paid for was my eye exam and they were not going give me my glasses and at first they won't even going to give me my prescription for my contacts.... Now that I'm this upset about it and called to express my frustration, she laughed at me and hung up the phone... When I called back they're now allowing me to pick up both of my prescriptions of the contacts and eyeglasses, but I do not have either that are useful to wear!! Have already paid them $155 which I now am finding out multiple other places. I could have had an eye exam and my glasses for less than that! I do not have the extra money and she kept referring to giving me a sample pair of contacts as if that's part of what I had to pay for... She should have never lied... If she would have been up front with the cost, I would have let her known I could not afford the visit and went somewhere else!

Dr Williams is very nice and a professional. My previous doctor closed her practice, I tried to go to two other doctors but despite my contractual insurance rates they wanted to charge me all sorts of hidden fees. Hub City was straight forward and no surprises. Happy New Customer!

Peter is EXCELLENT!!! This is by far the very best optician I have EVER been to. He/they works with you and your insurance to provide you the absolute very best coverage available to you. The eye doctor(s) (not sure if they are Optometrist or Ophthalmologist) are also excellent, as I have never had to take my lenses back for correction. In fact, the first pair of glasses I got from them over ten years ago provided better vision correction than the most recent ones I had been fitted from another (different) optometrist. I'd give 6 stars if I could! THANK YOU PETER, YOU GUYS (AND GALS) ROCK!!!

The best eye doctor I’ve ever been to! I went in feeling hopeless after being misdiagnosed with pink eye. This doctor found the problem and gave me hope that my vision will be restored. So happy I chose to go here. Great staff as well.

The most RUDE OWNER..."PETER"!! He was screaming at another lady after he hollered at me concerning the Baldwin EMC 25% appreciation discount this week. When making my appointment weeks ago for the Baldwin EMC advertised appreciation week special, Peter told me he would honor the 25% off special as long as my insurance allowed a certain amount towards glasses and not just a percentage of cost. Amazing enough, after my eye examination no one knew about the discount advertised by Baldwin EMC, not even the eye Dr Jeffrey Williams. Very unprofessional business as an whole. I was literally shaking while looking at new glass frames after being disrespected and hollered at and decided to just leave taking only my prescription. That was my first and LAST TIME to step foot back in Hub City Eye Care!! My 21 yr old son was with me during this visit and he too was caught off guard from the unprosfessional and disrespectful behavior towards the customers, including ourselves from Peter, the owner. Peter was full of outrage and frustration at the time of our appointment and was taking it out on his customers.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND HUB CITY EYE CARE...EVER!!

Very happy with the service I received at Hub City! The staff went above and beyond to help me. Very friendly and helpful! They have a great selection of eyewear as well. Highly recommend! SHOP LOCAL!

Very knowledgable & friendly doctor who took his time explaining the eye with age now that I'm 40 & seeing changes in my vision, lol. Super friendly staff. In & out within 45 min!
