I've lived in the neighborhood for over 10 years and I've walked past this parlor saying"one day I'll stop by" Well what better day to drop in than Jan 1st!?! So I did and am not disappointed at all. I'm not one to usually do a drop in tattoo, I book with an artist and go from there. Let me just say this, my experience was *chefs kiss* the music was on point, Justin and Todd are awesome, fun to talk to and good vibes all around. Justin worked with me to get exactly what I wanted and helped bring my idea to life with his drawings! Good advice and lots of laughs. 10/10 do recommend. 🖤🦇

My partner and I decided we wanted to get tattooed together one night. We had always walked by the shop and said we wanted to check it out. Well friends, last week was the week we decided to make it happen. Her and I had a ton of fun with Chasen and Justin, such sweet humans! So kind, funny and you can tell they genuinely love what they do and care about their clients. I got the coolest traditional butterfly and she got a mummy. Both of our tattoos are perfect and we will definitely be back for more!

Just finished with Blondie's second tattoo at I Love You Tattoo, and it's very cool. The first time we went here, Blondie got a lily from a book of designs on their shoulder, and it's beautiful. This time, they got Thai lettering on the forearm, some lyrics from a favorite Thai TV show song. We provided the letters, and they created a template for the arm, which Chasen then followed perfectly. The guys here are fun to talk to, the facility is bright and airy and clean, and they tell me that my Shakespeare/Welles avatar is very doable, so if I get up the nerve, I'll definitely be back.

I was having a day, just a day where I was seeking something new and outside of the mundane. I stumbled into an alleyway looking for love. Then suddenly a bright light blinded me from above, it was like I was shocked back to life after being long dead. It was Justin, preparing for his day, but not preparing for the hurricane that was fast approaching, It was my friend and I, out for adventure. With a voice like an angel and a mouth like a sailor, he sucked us in and showed us his wares. The banter was beautiful, the art was stunning. We chose matching black cats, an expression of our souls and an homage to our friendship. Side by side we sat, while Justin and Todd poured their hearts and inky needles into our arms. The end result was twin perfection. The ultimate bro tat, forever on our arms, forever in our hearts.

Highly recommend this place! I recently moved to Oakland, and came across this shop nearby. After seeing their work on IG, I just and to walk in and get one myself. Chasen and Justin were the best, talented and funny individuals. Thank you for my mummy tattoo, I can’t wait to go back for more!

I was driven by jealousy. My wife and my best friends wife had gotten bro tats the day before. It was like a knife in the heart, except it was a black cat. I said to my friend, this aggression cannot stand. So we drove across the concrete expanse and found ourselves in an unfamiliar yet welcoming place. Like old friends, Justin and Chase embraced our teenage punk band logo. It was so clean and fast we didn’t even have time to bleed.

The fluorescent lights buzzed overhead as Chelsea and Jenny settled into the tattoo parlor’s lobby. The scent of antiseptic mingled with the faint, metallic tang of ink.
“Are you sure about this?” Chelsea asked, fiddling with the ends of her purple hair, her eyes darting to the tattoo gun on the counter.
