I love this store. The deli is my favorite and I eat there a lot. There’s a few amazing workers there that are so special and make my daughter feel so loved! One of them helps me out when I’m overwhelmed trying to shop and the other girl just loves my daughter like no other! It’s wonderful. The rest of the staff is great as well. Love shelf check out. Love the body armor selection!

Don't shop here unless you want to take a loan for groceries and get treated like garbage. I understand prices for groceries everywhere are high, but the average price for groceries here are almost double than at other grocery stores I have shopped at in similar sized towns and demographics. Every time I have gone to this store and asked an associate for help, it felt like I was nothing but nuisance or dumb because I didn't know where the item was located in the store. I had recently moved to town and I am still getting to know the unspoken rules. I went to go return cans and I had around 6 medium paper bags and I placed them in a cart like I do at any other store I have returned cans at. On my way to the can return area I was stopped by a rude shelf stocker who started to treat me like terribley because I didn't know that I couldn't put bags of cans in the carts. When he stopped me to say that I couldn't, I tried to respond kindly saying I am sorry, I didn't know this is my first time returning cans here and at other stores I have always put cans in the cart, but before I could say I am sorry he cut me off and said remove the cans or I'll have you removed from the store. Then I had purchased some drinks from their alcohol section at this store that were in returnable cans, and even marked returnable. Like I do at any other store in Michigan I brought the cans to the service desk saying the machine won't take them. They lady said there's nothing they can do, which is against the law. I haven't like shopping here and unless I need something in an emergency I won't go back.

Today their freshop app was down. (Through no fault of their own.) I appreciate that they were able to get my order to me. The three staff members I talked to were all very friendly and helpful.

I love shopping here it's close to my job the only thing is I think they are high on some of the items the cost I mean but a good place to buy groceries thank you Tina Guido.

Not happy with anything about this chain!
Prebagged Moldy produce, water added to the meats for increased weight, extremely high prices for the value! Not happy!
If it weren't for the staff I Would give 0 stars if possible.

Customer service has gone downhill. Not impressed with how my son was treated today. We're struggling enough as it is, and to embarrass him when he had problems with our families Bridge card is ridiculous. He doesn't have ID because he's 15... And he hasn't EVER needed it before. And they are in your store practically every 2 days, our whole family. What gives?

Just moved into the area- and with a family with gluten, dairy and egg allergies it has been challenging to find allergen friendly foods and organic produce. This location of Jack's seems to have the best selection of all of them in the area- (as limited as it is.) The prices are high- but at least they have some of the items we need (Like B-Free bread) I get the rest (strangely) at Walmart or Meijers in Escanaba. I put in a request for some gluten free /dairy free cashew ice cream and a manager called me and said she would order it and i was pleased to see it after about a month in the freezer. They do have Viola plant based cheese. Nice to see they are open to trying to make accommodations- would like to see more GF, dairy free items (like Forager Organic Cashew yogurt) and more organic produce options-- (like organic tomatoes, cucumbers, and kale, but I can get most of them at Walmart (sad, because I am not a fan of Walmart and would prefer to give my money to local stores). They also have 3 and 5 gallon bottled drinking water exchange which is nice (but pricey- as they don't have the option to refill bottles- only exchange)

What a great store - staff everywhere, clean, great deli, lovely salad bar.
The person that gave the store one star because of bad carrots should have their review deleted... you pick your own produce... if it's gone bad (as all produce does), I'm sure they would gladly give you a new bunch. Jeez.
