Wide variety of products and the prices weren't "that" high. The customer service could use some improvement, though. They were full of smiles and very kind to the customers ahead of me but very dismissive towards me - probably because I was a new face. All I know is, that's most definitely the wrong approach towards convincing a new customer to become a loyal one.

The owner is very polite. He always acknowledge & speak to me when I come into the business . The prices are a little less expensive than some of the other hair stores around Kalamazoo.

Enountered rude owner a few times on his bad days. I try to avoid places that don't appreciate the money were spending as Africans Americans. Which is 95% of customers freqenting the store.

use to be great but whoever was here today (7:30pm 07/16/24) was awful. insinuating i was stealing because i was browsing? i put everything i was going to buy down and left. that was actually insane. ive spent hundreds of dollars here and was cool with the older gentleman thats usually there but today, i will never spend another cent here. 😐 do not get into black hair care if you don't trust black patrons.

The owners are very nice and kind. Came here to get some makeup and tights and liked it a lot. Thought I wasn’t gonna like the store because of all the reviews but I had an experience. Definitely would like to visit again.

Good selection of products as well as prices! Unfortunately, every experience has been so negative due to the staff's HEAVY profiling and blatantly rude service. The way they treat customers (including myself) is painful to witness. I've left that store feeling bullied on multiple occasions. No sales/deals are worth being treated or talked to they way these employees do....so I'll personally be trying out new beauty supply stores in the area to get my products.

Update: I was recently KICKED OUT for taking a picture in the store. I was alone at the time. Not disrupting anyone, and had a whole basket of items to still purchase...left empty handed. The store owners are not kind, good people of this community. I value myself and my hard earned dollars too much to support this store any longer.

I just left this establishment 5 minutes ago. I had 3 colognes that I was interested in buying. I went to the back aisle where my sister was looking at other product. I asked her which scent she liked most and she said to put one back. I did that and went to the counter with 2 colognes. The guy at the register said "you had three." And I said that I put one back. I told him to check the cameras and that I am not a thief. He was hesitant to believe me after he saw me put the one back. I left with nothing because it is not worth it to buy anything from there. I work hard for my $ and I don't want to be profiled when spending it!!! I've gone to this place since I was young and everytime either me or my family gets profiled. I also just learned one worker beat down a woman for stealing. Violence is never the answer. I will never go here again. It sucks because I had a good relationship with the owner. I may have to tell him that his workers are targeting people. These reviews are sick. You just lost a long time customer. And I will be spreading the word about all of this on my socials. Do not go.
