Not only do I leave his chair fully back in the game, I also leave with a new positive mantra that could be applied to virtually any aspect of my life; a confidence boost like no other! I’ve been coming to Don for the past year & a half now, every couple weeks like clockwork. He makes it really easy to book an appointment with him via the Booksy app. Be sure to lock in that time ASAP though, my mans is high in demand & for a good reason! He was the barber that brought me out of my quarantine look (though I try not to speak of that look… actually it never happened). He did a tremendous job, had me looking & feeling like a whole different human being! I really enjoy my visits here, great location. Right downtown next to some great restaurants, art galleries, bars, smoke shops. The place hosts a very friendly community environment. I have never once seen him turn away a customer, everyone here is welcome. I remember during one of my visits he stopped cutting my hair to assist a disabled person entering the shop. Cleared a path, rolled them in & got them situated with one of their in-house barbers. Very commendable! Just from chatting with other clients I learned all about rare basketball collecting cards, anti-bipping techniques & a myriad of other fascinating things I probably wouldn’t have learned if I didn’t come here. They have great taste in music & stay with the jams! Sometimes I be risking my own line up just to bop to the beat. Watching him perfect the fade & crisp the line is like watching Bob Ross paint a little tree: artistic, elegant, effortless. I know I’m good to go when I see him take a few steps back, nod his head & say “Back in the game!” I’d give this place 6 stars if I could. Looking forward to my next visit 💯🔥
