The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. I was getting a pair of jeans and they noticed some threads were a bit loose and when there wasn't another one offered me a discount. Appreciated the kind service and attention to detail.

Unfortunately this store was not wanted I expected. I came looking for jeans but I quickly was treated as someone who couldn’t afford most of the items there. Not sure why because I was ready to spend money but only things that weren’t “too expensive” or were “on sale” were pointed out to me. Shame.

So my partner and I came here for jeans - and our 5 stars isn’t for the selection alone. Annie the sales associate was AMAZING. we both told Annie vaguely what we wanted in a fit (newbs) and we’re given jeans to try on that we’re perfect! I walked out with 3 shorts and 3 pairs of jeans while my boo left with 3 jeans that he swears are made just for him. Annie’s expertise in all the jeans stocked at maple street is worth the visit. I feel like we had a personal shopper. We joke together that we need Annie’s approval when buying jeans now. We’re from out of town and will visit maple street every time we visit family just for the amazing customer service alongside the wonderful selection. Anyone looking for a perfect fit should come here. 11/10

Whenever I visit Oakland, I make sure to go to Maple Street Denim for a new pair of jeans. Julie seems to have a sixth sense about what will look just right, and what will exactly fit. I also love the personal care and boutique feel of the store. Great selection of jeans, and also Pendleton, excellent tshirts and different accessories. Again, Julie’s taste is excellent in curating the goods in her special store. Can’t wait to come back on my next trip.

Julie is amazing at finding you the perfect jeans for your body. I'm a curvy woman who bikes and lifts weights. Too often it's really hard to find something that fits in my size. I emailed Julie with what I was looking for, she confirmed that she had jeans in my size, had a small stack ready for me to try on in her well-distanced shop, and after seeing the fit on my body zeroed in on a pair of jeans I love so much I wore them out. Cannot say enough about how great this shopping experience was, and how knowledgeable Julie is about fit and cut. Also appreciate that Maple Street Denim carries brands that focus on sustainability and supply chain, and can advise on repairs.
