I’m from Los Angeles and I travel back and forth, from work. I hold out, just to make sure I stop by Matt’s shop, upon arrival to the SLO area. They’ve always been incredibly helpful when it comes to my fitness journey, as well as general supplement information. Hands down, the best supplement shop I’ve ever been to. Honestly. After going to different supplement shops in town here in SLO over the weekend, and not finding what I was looking for (as well as finding helpful service), I called Matt at MG Sports Supplements this morning and he was incredibly helpful. After work I swung in to pick up my item, and we began to chat about their products and his business (which just celebrated 20 years, congrats!!). They carry a huge selection of items, and if they don't have it in stock, they'll quickly order it for you to have in about 3 days. He told me a story about how a client was looking for some product, they could've ordered it, but helped them out by recommending other nearby shops that would carry what he was looking for since he needed it that day - how rad is that?!? Matt was super cool and very knowledgeable, and I highly recommend talking to him and making MG your go-to shop for sports supplements. I am very much looking forward to going back for more in the future, as well as spreading the word on their professionalism, product knowledge and most importantly, to support local business. MG for the win, thanks again, Matt!

Recently moved to the area and so glad to stumble on this hidden gem of a shop! Matt made us feel welcomed and shares great knowledge of sports nutrition without being salesy. Seriously, the guy know his stuff and carries an array of high quality, hard to find supplements. I'll be a regular here.
