This is my second time here. The first time I bought a size small bottle of their Balsamic Vinegar (200 mL), $13.95 and this time I got it in their largest size, growler, (1,892 mL) $79.95.

This is a lovely shop that sells olive oil and balsamic vinegar. You can ample their various flavored olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

I enjoyed their balsamic vinegar flavors more than their olive oils. The taste is so refreshing, fresh, natural, and flavorful. Highly recommend.

Monterey’s Tasty Olive Bar is a hidden gem that every food lover needs to experience! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and introduced to their incredible selection of olive oils and balsamic vinegars—over 40 varieties for sure in total. The team was so kind, encouraging us to taste any of the showcased flavors, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

The flavors were absolutely remarkable, and some stood out as true superstars. It was impossible to choose just a few, so we left with eight bottles—four olive oils and four balsamics—each more delicious than the last. The quality of their olive oils, sourced from Tunisia and Australia, and their balsamics, aged using the traditional Solera Method from Modena, Italy, is simply unmatched.

This is not just a store; it’s a flavorful adventure that elevates any dish to gourmet status. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—it’s worth every penny and every taste!

I have never been to a place like this. It's so amazing the amount of vinegar and oils they have for you to taste. They give you bread to try it with. The flavors really come through. I got the green pepper olive oil. It is amazing with bread alone. I use it a bit with steaks etc. such a nice extra touch of flavor for your food. The pricing is very reasonable a 200ml bottle is only $13. I highly recommend trying to stop by this place

My daughter and I had a great time tasting and sampling the oils and vinegars. The staff made pairing suggestions of which oils go with well with certain vinegars that I would have never thought to try and every one was amazing! We would up buying 4 pairs and they even matched up the tops so we would know which pair was which. Can't wait to order more!

For olive oil and balsamic vinegar fans, this is THE place! They have dozens of different types of olive oils and balsamics, all of which you can freely taste. They provide a generous tasting portion of bread to taste basically everything. We left with 4 petit bottles of our favorite tastes, and if we lived locally, we'd definitely come back regularly.

The store is well-appointed and the staff was friendly.

My wife and I love this store. We visit whenever we visit Monterey. They have a huge selection of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. They provide pieces of bread so you can sample. They also have a selection of soap. Buy a bar of the cherry almond!!!

We really enjoyed the selection here at the olive bar. There were so many unique flavors to choose from, and more importantly, a ton of samples to try. I'm fact you could sample just about everything!

There were some really fun and surprising flavors too, especially with the balsamic selections. Two in particular stand out, a Tahitian vanilla, and a peach. Both were fantastic, and both were purchased by us as well.

The staff were great too. Taking the time to cheerfully answer all of our questions and to suggest great new pairing ideas. Definitely check this spot out if you have the time.
