First time here and will be the last. I requested a silk press which is listed on their website. The only woman working looked like she could be anywhere else and was shocked that I did not come with already blow dried hair for a silk press!! What am I paying you for? She then proceeds to sigh and mistreat my hair. She was very rough and I ended up leaving her chair. save your money and don’t bother coming here. Horrendous customer service and unprofessional. 0 stars.

Okay. First time trying them out explained what I wanted. Asked for feedin braids for my daughter, this is what I received. Was charged $140 for this hairstyle that honestly I could’ve done myself so much better. Would post a pic of my hair but that’s being shared to fb for public opinions. I suggest braiders shouldn’t braid so tight and if you can’t do something please don’t say you can! Thanks

Poor customer service - Invidible Twist
I sent the manager a picture of the style my daughter wanted and a video. She assured me she could do it and quoted me around $120. The stylist told me she would do the method in the video (crochet) but she didn’t, just twisted the hair in and charged $240. These pictures were taken less than an hour after the service. I text the manager and asked to be refunded at least $140. She refused and talked me into letting her do it herself. We made an appointment and was late but called, she sent my call to voice mail and didn’t respond to my text. My daughter arrived and she was gone and hadn’t replied to my attempt to reschedule. If you don’t see them do the style don’t trust them! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I just experienced the most interesting customer service experience! I walked in to make a retail purchase. The woman behind the counter was on the phone, so I stood in front of her and waited for her to finish. I heard her stop talking on the phone, but she never said a word to me. I looked at her and she was just staring at me with a blank face.. I said “hi” to which she replied “hi” and continued her blank look.. I walked out the door and took my business across the street to Kiki where I was greeted with a smile.

I came for a silk press and all I can say is wow! The curls stayed in for the next morning and after continuing to wrap my hair every night it continued to look like I was getting it done every day! The blowout lasted for a long time before I put water to my hair and when I did my curls bounced right back. No heat damage or nothing! I was starting to think I had a perm the way the silk press stayed straight for so long it was genuinely amazing. Love it 10/10

Poor customer service. I really won’t go into to much details because I actually don’t like giving bad reviews on black women in business but I had to after trying to resolve my issue with the owner. But I will say they lost a valuable customer. I got a touch up done and they only did 13 braids over and I paid $120. When I sent the pictures to the owner her reply was these braids don’t look that bad for 3 weeks and I had to tell her that those braids were done less than 24 hours of service. After that I heard nothing else from her. I would post pictures but I’m to embarrassed to post them. I do not recommend this salon.

I came in on a Friday and in less than a week I already have to take the braids out. The experience was subpar. As soon as I walked in and showed the style I wanted, the lady made a grimace.. I asked if it’s because they can’t do that style and she told me “no it’s just everyone wants that now”. That should’ve been my sign to go but I needed my hair done. They didn’t know I understood French and Haitian Creole and was speaking about my choice of hair color in a disrespectful way (613 mixed with 27 which I’ve done before and loved). The lady apologized after realizing I understood what they said. The total was more than I was told at the beginning. Not worth the price at all, I would’ve taken it out 3 days after but kept thinking about how much I’ spent! It was done so tight, too much gel, and the ends were not even so I only wore it in a bun or ponytail. I usually get a lot of compliments when I get braids.. not this time. The woman before me had issues with her hairstylist too and being overcharged. Just an overall gossip environment and people who looked like they hated what they did for a living. My scalp is still sore from last week. I do not recommend here. Save your time and money.

Called on the same day and had my braids taken out, washed, blow dried and flat ironed my hair. Even offered a drink. The ladies are all very good at what they do! Wonderful service! Highly recommended and will definitely return.
