I've seen Elizabeth Velez several times at the Newport office for Botox, and I couldn't be happier with the experience each time. Elizabeth is professional, attentive, warm and always makes me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. She listens to my concerns, explains everything thoroughly, and ensures I know what to expect. The results are consistently fantastic—natural and exactly what I was hoping for. I highly recommend Elizabeth Velez for anyone considering cosmetic treatments.

I was just here with my girlfriend for her procedure and was treated so nicely while I waited. They have a legit espresso machine and made me a perfect shot. As good if not better than a serious coffee shop. Incredible hospitality at a dermatologist- who knew. 5 Stars!

I’ve been a patient at this dermatology office for over a year, but I’m switching to a new provider after numerous negative experiences.

I had a bad experience was with my prescription refill. I once showed up on time for an appointment, only to be told, “We can just call it in for you, no worries.” Fast forward to the next time I needed a refill, I called to request it, and they told me I needed to see the doctor because it had been a year. I asked when I could get in, and the earliest appointment was weeks away. I reminded them they’d previously told me to skip the appointment, and their response was, “That’s your responsibility.” How is that my responsibility when they specifically told me not to come in?

On top of that, they could’ve given me a 30-day supply without a doctor visit, but instead, I was stuck without my medication for weeks, and my skin got much worse because of it.

The final straw was waiting 40 minutes for a telehealth appointment with no clear instructions about how it would take place (FaceTime? A specific app?). The lack of communication was just another layer of frustration. I bet they'll try to charge me for it now too. Lol.

My experience here has been unprofessional and inconsistent, and I wouldn’t recommend this office to anyone.

The doctors are good, the office staff is horrible. Don't sign their contract, they'll take your money without your approval. I was told I might need to go back for a retouch because the dr was afraid to go too deep with the liquid nitrogen. I asked if there would be an additional charge and was told there would not be. Three different people tried to get my approval for charges. I explained the situation twice to each person. They said they understood and I left. Then they charged my card anyway.

Awesome, professional team at Newport Beach Derm and Plastic Surgery. Have been a patient since Dr McNeill opened over 10 years ago with great results from Ultherapy, Botox, fillers and IPL's. Graduated to plastic surgery with Dr Ellstrom in 2021 when I had an upper bleph with CO2 laser around my eyes, then in the fall of 2023 I had a neck and lower facelift and lower bleph followed by full face CO2. Dr E took the time to answer all of my questions (and I asked a lot of them) and made sure I was completely comfortable with the process and recovery. I am amazed at the results. I look refreshed without the jowls and lax skin, especially under my eyes. Nothing is pulled too tight, so my facelift is not obvious to friends. The full face CO2 eliminated all the little spots and imperfections in my skin. I look like myself, only many years younger! A huge thank you to Dr Ellstrom. I highly recommend him and the entire team.

Awesome Office
I went to this office after seeing a review. The reviews weren't wrong. Although I had wanted to see Dr McNeill she was booked for quite a while so I saw Krisitn Scord. She was so thorough. I was seeing her for acne and she made me feel like no question was off limits. She prescribed a medication and we needed to get a prior authorization which I know was a pain. They got the medication approved by my insurance and I started it 3 months ago. I also did an Acne Facial with Allee Ashlock (sp?), Between the medication and the facial my skin has totally cleared up. I am really grateful to this office. It's clean, the entire staff is friendly, scheduling is easy and obviously the results have been fantastic. My mom decided to go for Botox and some kind of filler. She looks so good! Swear to goodness her wrinkles in her forehead are smooth and she has some cheeks now. She couldn't be happier. Thanks Kristin and Allee and Staff at Newport Beach Dermatology and Plastic Surgery. I will refer everyone that needs a great Dermatologist!

As a fair freckled person I have seen many dermatologists over my life & this is by far the best! Fantastic physicians & staff, state of the art equipment & services, and I’m always able to get in for an appt. I also love that the convenience that they carry sunscreens & products (at Amazon prices). My daughters & I have gone here for years & always get the best service. Highly recommend!
