Mom just rented a place here (old Forest Hill Manor) and everyone has been stellar! Place is well kept up, choice of different levels of assistance, etc., move in and first month has been a great experience.

Mindy took me on a tour of the complex, she was very professional and answered all of my questions. She was very friendly as was other staff and residents i encountered. The building is beautiful and very well maintained. The 2 apartments i looked at were nicely staged and although small as expected, showed excellent use of space. Both the bathroom(s) and kitchens were nicely layed out.

(GJF) I toured an in the process of remodel studio a couple of months ago and the remodel turned out great! The new ownership is making great efforts in fixing any issues that could arise in the future such as venting in the kitchen and bathroom that one reviewer mentioned. I LOVE the fact that it has a fire sprinkler system.
Something I have said out loud to myself and to the staff and to my friends and family is EVERYONE HERE IS SO NICE! People in PG are extra cool already and considering the beauty and setting of PG it's easy to be more relaxed but people in this senior community and the staff especially are EXTRA nice and there are so many amenities such as rides to shopping and field trips, in-house classical concerts ect. I am relatively new so I am discovering new amenities every day and it's so close to Lovers Point Beach and the rest of the above and underwater scenery!!!! Love it so far!

My dad has been residing at PGSL since the beginning of the 2023. He moved from another local place where he was a resident for nearly 8 years. It was also very nice but had become financially unstable with 30-40% price hikes over a 2 year stent and it was sold off 3 months after he left. My dad is in his late 80's and moving someone is never easy at that age. But, PGSL was stellar during the transition. Even as they were going through an ownership change themselves. The personnel was amazing and very considerate. My dad certainly was having his difficult days during the transition making him difficult at times. But the staff was extremely patient and worked with his needs to help place him in the community where he is now very happy. If I had a hat, I would tip it to the great staff for being so delightful and supportive. Also, PGSL has been going through significant major upgrades to facilities while maintaining the service and professionalism of a well run senior living facility.

If you value your elders and parents, then steer clear away from the assisted living in this place. The actual place is just alright but the new administration only cares about profits and nothing else.The staff are highly untrained and the new assited living director has no idea what they are doing. The director let's the untrained staff do whatver they want and doesn't have any leadership skills whatsoever.

My uncle entered the facility not quite a week ago. He is also a hospice patient. The care that Forest Hill has provided to my uncle has been exceptional. They are helping him live his last days with dignity and grace. They are responsive to his needs, although he is somewhat non-communicative. He is bathed daily and cleaned up on a regular schedule. The staff has been more that accommodating to the family's requests. They are truly an exceptional group to work with. Thanks so much for taking great care of my uncle.
