I found Nicole in 2022 by luck and I was so scared because I knew nothing about her experience or persona. I was so happy with how she cut my hair making sure I kept my length but had style, ever since then I’ve followed her because she has done an amazing job with my hair every time I’ve sat in her chair. To say the least I trust her so much that I wasn’t hesitant to be one of her first scalp treatment clients since I know she’s an expert cosmetologist. I also love how she uses high quality products and cruelty free products. I highly recommend her.

I was able to make an appointment online and talk/text with a hair stylist. Crystal was polite and professional and walked me through the process. I've never been to a salon before. Day of appointment came and Crystal, although unavailable, quickly scheduled me with Richard. She never dropped a beat and contacted me asap regarding scheduling issues. When I got to the salon Richard made me feel welcomed and at ease about the whole process. He was fantastic and very personable. Prior to the hair cut Richard gave me a consultation and put me at ease. I had long hair since I was 17 and I was going short almost 20yrs later. Bottom line is I got a great hair cut. The service was amazing. I spent less than I expected and I am very satisfied. I won't be going anywhere else from now on. Thank you Richard and Crystal. Oh the atmosphere was very chic and trendy. It seemed like a place for the pretty. I didn't feel like I should be there but I left feeling welcomed and taken care of.

My gf purchased a Groupon for a haircut to try this place out for the first time. After scheduling her first cut they called and rescheduled 3 different times. They then called back the day of her haircut to be told you stylist doesn’t take the coupon so you have to be rescheduled again the following week and that there was nothing they could do. This was now too late to get a haircut for our vacation wasting her week. When you offer a coupon for your company you should honor it, this was very frustrating for her and me to have to find another salon. Safe to say they lost our buisness.

I have naturally spiral curly hair and was on a hunt to find my stylist. Upon my review on the praises given to Lora Johnson; I wanted to give her a try. So, I tried to book her through Ricciolo salon and found out that she is no longer with them. However, he “receptionist” informed me that Lora highly trained Crystal Bell in “cutting” curly hair; since this was a BIG concern for me. Well, I guess the “cutting” was the keyword that I really should have paid closer attention to. Since anyone can cut curly hair; even a baboon…… but I didn’t.… so I went.

First of all there are rules in cutting and styling naturally curly hair! ONE: You DO NOT wash and shampoo the hair before cutting. TWO: You DO NOT brush out the curls!!!

The reason behind this is that every curl in your head is different and, how in the world can you style the hair if it is NOT in Its natural state!!!

I should have ran as soon as Crystal started brushing my curls out to a “jeffro”; but gave her the benefit of the doubt…… NEVER AGAIN!!! The style I downloaded on my phone to show her what I wanted…is nothing like it. In fact! It’s just rounded with no shape at all and now I have to wait until it all grows out before I even think about having it shaped properly. Not to mention, someone lied!!! She either was not trained by Lora or Lora really doesn’t know what she is doing; which would have me even question these reviews …... BUT! You live and learn.

All I know is that I give my truest apology to Cheryl Johnson at “In Vogue Hair Designs” in Upland, CA. I just wanted to really find my true and only stylist before locking them in my database!!! So Cheryl, you are in my speed dial and facebook now so I can follow you. You are like “my buddy song” where ever you go, I go. Lol! You are never too old to learn a good lesson!
