Very disappointed—this was my first and last visit. I waited an hour in the waiting room, then another hour in the exam room before Dr. Love finally came in. When she did, she spent only 2 minutes with me, never examined my skin, and just looked up suggestions on Google—something I could’ve done myself at home. Total waste of time. On top of that, I had blood work done, and while my results came back a few days later, the office didn’t call me for an entire month to say everything was normal. I expected much better.

I started treatment at the beginning of August. They did a biopsy on my skin to figure out what the problem was. I was prescribed Dupixent. I had to make a trip to Montgomery to put my starter kit. It was handed to me, but I wasn't instructed on how to do inject myself. Thankfully my daughter in law is a nurse and she showed me the right way. The problem is that I'm now having bad reactions to the Dupixent . The rash is twice as bad as when I began treatment. I have tried to reach them on the phone, all I get is an answering machine, and no one is returning calls This is horrible, it's leaving awful scars all over me, and I feel like crap . It's not that hard to return a call

This was my third and final appointment with river region dermatology. Everytime was at least a 45 minute wait. This third time was 1 hour and 20 minutes before I was finally seen by the dermatologist, and she spent no more than two minutes with me.
Furthermore, the office and waiting area is heavily perfumed, so much so that I felt dizzy and nauseated and waited outside for each appointment. These professionals should know more than anyone that perfume aggravates psoriasis and eczema--especially the kind of perfume that sticks to your clothes and skin for the rest of the day.

Dr. Porcia Love and her staff are so awesome and incredibly amazing in everything that they do!!!!! Dr. Love is very informative and so caring! She takes her time to to explain everything to you and she also listens to you and has great bedside manners!!! Mrs. Bethany is so awesome when she did my facial and she such a sweetheart!!!! Service and price is great! I've been seeing Rachel for about 6 months and I'm pleased with the service. She's done a good job with reducing the scars and dark spots on my face, and she's pleasant to work with. As a man, I was a little apprehensive and didn't know what to expect, but she made me feel comfortable and was good at explaining things. She recommended the appropriate services to meet my need and everything came out well. The facility is nice and I found the whole staff to be friendly and helpful.

Horrible experience. Made my appointment 6 months in advance, waited over an hour and a half and my name was never called. They misplaced my paper. I had to leave to go to work. Beyond unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. Find somewhere else!
