First, we drove over an hour to get there for a birthday couples massage to unfortunately be told that one masseuse didn't show up and could not be reached. Maybe it was an emergency, things happen. But we could no longer get the service we made an appointment for.

Second, instead of calling us, we arrived, filled out forms, and waited while they tried to call someone in without saying anything to us. We already knew something was wrong. They only informed us there was a problem after we waited for 20 minutes. I would have expected to be informed as soon as possible rather than wasting time and gas.

Finally, the biggest problem was that as we sat in the waiting area, we could hear two employees loudly arguing and swearing. Not the right atmosphere for a spa and unprofessional to say the least. Heated discussions should be had outside of customer hours or outside of earshot. We could hear every word.

The receptionist did her best to make up for a bad situation that was not her fault, but this was extremely disappointing. Over 2 hours of time wasted and a large portion of a birthday ruined.

We got a couples relaxation massage for my birthday last weekend November 16th 2024. I couldn't remember the name of my masseuse but Casey was who massaged my fiancee and my massage was extraordinary. She had dark hair, medium height, very good masseuse though!

It was an hour long and we both felt so good afterwards, we ended up doing a ton of things later in the evening. Woke up feeling great, loose, rejuvenated.

It was one of the best massages I've ever received (of probably hundreds of massages). I'm a local, and if you are local, tourist, etc... This is definetely a must-experience at least once.

My fiancee loved it so much, she checked on makeup, hair, and other services. She doesn't like getting massages in general but she loved it.

The massage technicians knew exactly how much pressure to apply and what areas really needed to be "unstuck." The hot stones were fabulously therapeutic, and the foot scrub relieved much stress from the feet. Our skin was so soft afterward, and tightness in muscles was gone. We have been here a few times, and we often stop in as we travel through. The staff is warm and friendly with an upbeat energy and chill vibe. TONY AND SHERI

I recently had a side-by-side full-body massage with my partner, and unfortunately, I left the experience feeling quite disappointed. While the massage therapists were friendly, there was a miscommunication when I mentioned that I wanted the massage to focus on my back and neck. Regrettably, I received predominantly foot massages and minimal attention to my back, with only a few brief rubs on top of the blanket I had covering me. Despite my request for firmer pressure, I still did not receive the desired back massage.

Considering the premium price of the service, it was disheartening to receive what felt like a brief 5-minute foot and calf massage, along with warm towels on my neck. When it came to leaving a tip, I declined, as I wasn't satisfied with the service. The reaction from the staff was somewhat rude, as they asked twice about my decision not to leave a tip. Subsequently, one of the therapists inquired about our background, suggesting she could discern it from our culture. While it's unclear whether this comment was intended to be disrespectful, it came across as unnecessary.

Tipping should always remain at the discretion of the customer and should not be coerced. If a customer chooses not to leave a tip due to a service that didn't meet their expectations, this feedback should be acknowledged and used as an opportunity for improvement to enhance the experience for future customers.

Updated: I saw Sadie for a pedicure and it was a very relaxing experience. She is friendly and gentle. A week later my polish still looks great and my feet still feel soft.
Jennifer is the BEST for hair! She explained how the process worked and set expectations. She was gentle and friendly and the staff was friendly as well. Very quaint salon in the mountains.
