Fred was great! I explained to him that I always have hairdressers take off way more hair than I want and Im always worried to get my hair cut. Fred listened to what I wanted and did a perfect trim and left my hair looking beautiful and even kept my length! He did a nice blowout at the end and I was very happy with the results!

I had a last minute opportunity to do a TV news segment yesterday for my business, I called Salon 119 with almost no notice & they were able to work me in! I talked with Michelle, the owner, who was lovely! She set me up with Lori who booked me with Salma, she had me in and out of the salon in an hour with beautifully styled hair for TV. The salon was beautiful, and really clean, I love that! Very comfortable atmosphere and full service too! I will have to go back for nails and a massage soon 🥰 Thank you Salon 119 for excellent service! You made my day yesterday!

AVOID FOR EVENTS/MAKEUP

I booked makeup for 4 and 3 for hair (simple blowouts) for my micro wedding. The 1st makeup appt was for 8am, confirmed multiple times. The MUA, Salma, slept in & arrived late, so my bridesmaid had to be completely cancelled. Not only did that throw off my entire schedule, but the MUA (who was also doing my hair) was literally stopping during my blowdry to text people on her Apple Watch and even place a food order. I was already running way behind so this was so unprofessional. The makeup was not great - I had to ask her to colour correct after making my fair skin look very orange, and my mom really didn’t like hers either (was applied way too heavy and matte for her aging skin). After all of this she still charged me full price. The receptionist Lori was very lovely to book with, & the other 2 blowouts by Fred were great, so I’m giving them the star. But because of the MUA this was overall a bad experience, very stressful, and I don’t recommend for any sort of special occasion.

I got a massage with Simon and he is the best! I’ve had many massages over the years and Simon is a master! He stretches and massages you. I feel 5 years younger every time I leave. Anytime I’m in the area I go see Simon!

Samantha did such a nice job on my nails! I showed her an inspo pic and she made great reccomendations on the type of nails and polish to use. They look so lovely 😻

I had a haircut here back in March. I got literally laughed at for saying I use head and shoulders. My scalp is so clean and my hair was in such good shape so idk what was so funny - especially when studies have come out and dermatologists have come out saying that products like H&S help prevent hair loss with the anti inflammatory and cleansing aspects. Who’s laughing now Fred?

Also please be gentle with those round brushes I had no breakage before I came in and a whole lot after you went to town on my hair. There’s no reason to pull on long hair like that. The haircut itself was nice, but the behavior could use improvement.

Had my nails done on the first visit along with my toes. The lovely Hannah did them and I must say, did a fantastic job. We was getting married the next day and her husband Vu kindly came as a witness which we was so grateful for, he took the time to video our service and took lots of pictures. They definitely go above and beyond at this salon. The next morning I had my hair done, which I come away feeling on top of the world. Really do a fantastic job. Thank you guys for making me feel so special on my wedding day x
