Can I give 20 stars?! Let me just start by saying that if you ever have the opportunity to cross paths with Shelby, you will be a better human for it. She is truly the best hype woman and the sweetest, kindest soul. Not to mention the INSANE TALENT she possesses. By the time my wedding day arrived, I had already been glammed by Shelby 2 or 3 times before and somehow each time got better and better!! Just when I thought we couldn’t perfect my wedding day look anymore, she went and proved me wrong. When we landed on the final look, I truly don’t think I have ever felt more beautiful in my life! She absolutely nailed my vision and was so open to any adjustment I wanted to make. My makeup looked PERFECTLY FLAWLESS all night!!! I actually fell asleep in it after a long wedding day and it still looked literally perfect when I woke up. When I tell you she is the angel baby queen of make up, I mean it. There is NO ONE ELSE I would ever trust to do my make up ever again! 2 of my bridesmaid have already booked her for other events. You want your make up done right? Book Shelby, there’s no other way to go!!!

Having Shelby as my makeup artist for my wedding was an absolute DREAM ! Not only is she the sweetest person on earth and made me feel like a total bombshell for my wedding day, she also has GREAT energy for getting me and my girls pumped the morning of the wedding (which honestly is so important)! I have had, no joke, multiple bridesmaids reach out to me just to tell me how their makeup lasted ALLLL night AND still looked stunning at the end of the night…and also to tell me how much they loved her and want her for their weddings. On top of her glowing personality and insane makeup skills, she was incredible about keeping to our schedule and making sure all my girls were ready on time (I had 14 bridesmaids and MOB that her and her assistant, Bella (also amazing), had to power through in a strict time frame). 10/10 recommend using Shelby for your wedding makeup- you wont regret it!!

I hired Shelby for my wedding day makeup and a trial beforehand. I cannot begin to express how much you need her for your wedding day. She is wildly talented in her craft and truly strives to deliver the best client experience from initial inquiry to the big day. During my trial, I was a bit conflicted about what I wanted but Shelby asked great questions and listened intently to what I liked, what I didn’t like, and she walked me through each step of the process. I ended up LOVING the finished look and rocked it for my bridal shower. By the time of my wedding 2 months later, I had changed my mind about lip color and general color palette and she not only listened and provided helpful insight, but she DELIVERED. My makeup lasted all day/night and she even gave me some extra things to touch up because I cried 1000000x during that day.

Aside from her extreme talent and professionalism, she is SO fun and so sweet. Makeup is the first part of your wedding day, so who you hire really helps set the tone for the rest of your day. OMGGGGG where to start with this woman Theres so many things I want to say about her. First of all her personality is UNMATCHED, she is so genuine, kind, fun, and professional! Theres no way you could get your makeup done and not have a good time with her or feel like your best self afterwards. She is the absolute hype woman and makes you FEEL yourself after! Like if only she could glam me on the daily, I would be getting into trouble with all that confidence! I was really focused on an overall experience with a MUA on my wedding day because we all know it can be extremely stressful and also how you look and feel can determine how the day is gonna go. I wanted to look my best, feel my best, but also share the day with someone who felt like a friend and is passionate/enjoys what they do. If you are similar, look no further! Shelby is 100% your girl! I trusted her so much that I didn't even end up with the look we did for my trial, but instead found another look on her instagram and just decided to wing it for day of! She delivered and I loved it more than our first look we did at the trial. It was also important to find someone who would make my bridesmaids look and feel their best too! She spends just as much time glamming your bridal party and hyping them up as well! One of my bridesmaids said it was the best wedding makeup she had ever received, even compared to her wedding day! We also had a cold sore incident with my groom and she was willing to check him out and see if she could help the situation. Okay lastly lets talk about how your makeup will stay all night. I'm a huge crier and was so worried I would look a wreck after the ceremony, but I cried at the ceremony, danced for 2 hours nonstop, went to an afterparty and my makeup was still gorg in the morning (I know Im gross, but pic for reference) so I wore it to brunch! Anyways, I promise Shelby will be one of those best decisions of your wedding too!!! Now I just need another excuse for glam and to hang with her...

Shout out to Bella who worked as her assistant but is also a San Diego MUA, she is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING to work with and I highly recommend her too!

I cannot stress how much Shelby changed my whole wedding day for me. For starters, I can recall once in my life where I had my makeup done and didn't cry. I, along with most of my bridesmaids, are very picky about our makeup. I did a trial with Shelby and from that moment on, I knew that I did NOT need to me worried in the slightest that I wouldn't like my makeup on my wedding day. Removing that stress made such a monumental difference for me on that day, and of course the makeup not only looked EXACTLY how I wanted it to, but it stayed on until our wedding ended....I didn't take it off until 4am and it looked the same as when she first applied it!!! All of my bridesmaids were stunned by her work as well. Most importantly, Shelby is the sweetest person. She's got this energy that radiates when she walks into her room and I could not have felt luckier to have had her do my makeup. It makes a difference to have a makeup artist treat you like a friend on your wedding day, rather than a stranger. She has the biggest heart and genuinely cares about you and her work. You're not just a client with Shelby, you're a priority and that's really hard to find in a makeup artist as skilled as her. Shelby, I'll never be able to properly thank you!!! If you are able to, I promise hiring Shelby will be the best decision you can make for yourself (and your bridesmaids) on your special day!

From the very start, she was an angel to work with! We did my bridal trial in September, which just happened to be one of the hottest weeks of the year. She not only did the most amazing, beautiful makeup, but it was literally BULLETPROOF. I had my trial makeup on in 100+ degree weather and it did not budge!

She was so organized and communicative throughout the entire process. On my wedding day, I felt so at ease because I knew my makeup was going to be a 10/10! She absolutely nailed the bridal look and vibe I was going for. I actually started to tear up when I first saw my bridal makeup - I was so blown away!

On top of that, she did makeup for my bridesmaids and my mom. They all LOVED Shelby and her incredible work. All of them have different skin types/textures and skin tones, and Shelby did a flawless job on everyone!
