I haven’t ever written a review in my life, but this one is almost necessary. I purchased extensions and had them installed here. I had explicitly said I do not want a shadow root. Without my consent, a shadow root was painted on my extensions, as well as chunky “lowlights” that looked incredibly unnatural. As for my natural hair, a shadow root was done when I explicitly said I want to be bright. I communicated that my goal was to be platinum and move towards a bleach and tone. So when I was ready for my next appointment I was told I couldn’t go so bright because the darkness painted on to the extensions would show through. I specifically said in the beginning that I didn’t want it painted on. My only option would be to buy a new set of extensions. And the worst part… I couldn’t take the extensions out because the way my hair had been cut to “blend” the extensions had actually butchered my hair. Instead of blending it, like I was told she would, she used shears to shave my natural hair. I grabbed a piece at the top of my head and it was barely three inches long. I tried to reach a solution with the salon, where I was basically told there’s nothing I could do about the color. I was offered free installation of K-tip extensions to cover of the bald spots from the terrible haircut, meaning they knew they messed up. I wasn’t offered a refund so I disputed the service with my credit card company. The only reason I want a refund for the extensions is because the color was ruined, and done without my consent. I did not agree to that color, and Madelyn took it open herself to ruin the extensions I had paid for. And I wanted a refund on the hair service because the shadow root done on me was not what I asked for, and the haircut left my hair botched with bald spots. The bank wouldn’t issue me a refund because the salon told them I never returned the extensions. I was never advised to return the hair. I still have it and would happily return it. I have been battling for months to get a refund. I am not out $1,600 for a service that butchered my hair. I will not be coming back, but obviously still want this issue resolved and a refund issued. This service is unacceptable, even more so that some things were done without my knowledge, after previously saying no.

The BEST salon around! Soho strikes the perfect balance between luxury and a welcoming vibe—it’s upscale yet so comfortable and relaxing. Every person on their team is incredibly talented and kind! The whole experience is amazing! Oh, & the Oribe products are incredible!

Tori was able to take me in last minute today and she understood the assignment! I feel like a brand woman after leaving her chair! She did a fabulous job and was so personable! The salon is gorgeous and the atmosphere is so peaceful! 10/10 reccomend Tori & Soho!

Highly recommend!! Soho is upscale, inviting, modern, comfortable and clean atmosphere. The entire team there is amazing to say the least. Sissie did a fantastic job with my hair today…..have had issues with my hair turning red and brassy for quite some time and no one could seem to get it right. I have found my new hair home! Their Oribe products are the BOMB! If you are looking for a salon who understands your needs and goals then look no further. These girls take their time and make it happen! So so happy!!!

I was really excited to go to Soho when they first opened up. I found a stylist whose work I thought looked great. The appointment was fine. I thought she was really nice. There was a little bit of a mishap with my foils getting too hot, but we got past it no big deal. Fast forward to the end of the appointment and she didn’t ask to book my next appointment. So I asked and to me it seemed like she hesitated to book it. She booked it anyways. A couple of weeks later, I got a text from a friend telling me the stylist told her during her appointment (she was the one who referred me to that same stylist) that my hair was too over processed and told her to “break my heart” for her because she couldn’t get my hair to where I wanted it to be. I wish the stylist had just been up front with me instead of being unprofessional and telling my friend to do it. It’s unfortunate that the appointment cost almost $400 and the stylist couldn’t be upfront with me. I really wanted to love it there because it’s a gorgeous salon and it’s really luxurious, but unfortunately I won’t be going back. Editing to add that I scheduled an appointment at a different salon to do multiple strand tests to see if there was an issue with my hair and the stylist said it was not over processed.

OBSESSED, exactly what I asked for! ?
Sissie is an absolute master at hair extensions! Her technique is flawless and it does not damage your hair, actually helps it become stronger. The hair is real and it blends beautifully with your own. Besides that everyone at Soho is so kind and helpful making the experience amazing, you will not believe the results you get when done, It is the ultimate makeover that leaves you feeling like the best version of yourself!! I would recommend a million times over.

I have been going to Sissy for years now & she is seriously the best!! Jentry is also absolutely amazing at cutting hair!!They perfect my hair every time i go!! have not had a bad experience ever! 10/10 recommended Soho Studios!! Talented stylists!
