Ida was my skin specialist 30 40 yrs ago..she was on pill hill. I'm 69 now. I saw her one or twice on Piedmont Ave many years ago...I was in my 40's. Ida was the best. My current physician Dr. Beh speaks highly of Ida. I just can't imagine Ida being rude. I plan to treat myself to a facial real soon. Ida was always a caring person who loved proving good skin care. I don't understand the negative reviews.

I just had my first facial in quite awhile from Melody, at the recommendation of a friend. What a lovely experience! Her warm demeanor, careful explanations, and attention to my concerns were great, but she also has this amazing touch... tender but with perfect pressure for the facial massage. It's clear that she cares about your wellbeing through her service. The products that she used were organic for the most part, and all smelled and felt wonderful. I left feeling refreshed, glowing, and cared for.

I've gone through a full set of treatment (8 sessions) for some facial hair removal and now for a few touch up appointments. Ida was upfront with the cost for the full series and I found her to be timely, efficient, and very knowledgeable as we went through the treatment. She has a long background in laser removal and the results have been fantastic.

I really enjoyed my experience here. The studio is located behind the busy street and has a inviting ambiance, a plus when you’re tryin to pamper yourself. The lady was very kind, and she didn’t mind answering all my questions. I came for an acne facial and laser treatment. I’ve gotten facials before but this one left me feeling really good. She did a lot of extractions and it wasn’t half as painful as other facials I’ve had. She also made me feel at ease during the laser hair removal. Both procedures are the most comfortable, aka they are painful, but she was careful and considerate of my pain tolerance.

I also bought her face exfoliating wash, acne cream and night cream all of which I’ve use the last few days and can feel a big difference in my skin and others have noticed too.

I’ve already recommended her to my friends and can’t wait to go for my next session.

The good: I woke up with a clear face today. The bad: I won't be going back because I just didn't feel...welcome? I can't put my finger on it, but I'm sure it was just my experience as the reviews for this place are great. I'm from San Jose and if I'm driving almost an hour to get to you (which I'm more than willing to do for a great experience), I need to feel like my business matters. Maybe I'm used to a bit more pampering and having someone walk me through what they're doing as a way of making small conversation and making sure I'm comfortable, but I also feel that is pretty standard. I was so confident I was going to like this place that I had made a consultation for laser hair removal, but I canceled that too. There is public parking located around the corner, but there's also street parking, just make sure to read the signs.

This woman ( the owner) phone etiquette needs a LOT OF WORK. Answering SIMPLE QUESTIONS FOR HER WAS LABORIOUS regarding some CLARITY of the treatments she provides relating to chemical peel. That rude and rushy and disrespectful maybe covering up for lack of knowledge on the treatments she advertises. I am EXTREMELY LEARY TO GET ANY WORK DONE HERE. ZERO ETIQUETTE AND NOT AT ALL KNOWLEDEABLE and SUCCESSFULLY MAINTAINED A CONSISTENT RUDE DEMEANOR / TONE AND ESSENTIALLY ANSWERED NONE OF MY BASIC QUESTIONS

Certainly the most disrecpetful person I have met in a while. Unable to have a normal conversation without aggressing you and not welcoming at all. Service was not very good either.
