We were visiting and waking through Carmel . We just moved to Monterey so just exploring. I was intrigued by the name and went inside it’s absolutely heaven. The smells and all the products . She was so sweet and set my mind at ease that my very rowdy baby was fine to walk around . I can not wait to go back and get some bath salts and lotion . It was a wonderful experience!

I was shopping in Carmel with my mom and sister today, and we spent a ton of time in the Soiled Doves Bathhouse. Betsy, the proprietress, was so charming and made our day. We had a delightful time, bought several soaps, my mother bought some cute pyjamas, and some great lotions.

Next time we’re in Carmel, we’ll be sure to stop by again!

Owner was so lovely and her story of how she ended up here at soiled dove and got the name for her store is so beautiful and inspiring. Would absolutely recommend supporting an even just take some time of your day to stop by an go in and learn about her and the store!

Just visited this store on Sunday . It was fantastic . I would rate it 10 stars if it let me . The customer service was outstanding . She knows all of her products inside and out . Her goal is not to just sell you a product . She wants to sell you the best product that suits your needs . I will definitely be returning to this store . I will let anyone and everyone that takes a trip to Carmel . To make sure and go by this store . I bought 11 products . Soaps and lotions . I plan on buying more .

Visiting from out of town, fell in love with the Girly Girl Garter and purchased for a bridal gift. Unfortunately, upon arriving home, the sizing was noticed to be- can we say- backwards?! Being in a time crunch I called the owner, and the company that makes them. The owner called me, having already spoken to the company ( who by the way still haven't returned my email or call) and was having the correct size shipped directly to my home as well as offering me the one purchased as a gift for my inconvenience. She was also very personable in the store which I absolutely adored. Please visit, it is an charming store with loads of lovely gifts.

5 ladies in 3 generations spent more than an hour in this tiny delightful shop. The products are all rare and exquisite finds and everything smells heavenly. The way the proprietor, Betsy, has put all her wares on display is just stunning - everything with utmost love and care. Ask her to tell you, again, about why it's called Soiled Doves. Almost choked back tears. No matter what your trade, she's exemplary.
