Outstanding tattoo experience! I walked in on a whim and James was kind and totally accommodating. I wanted a custom design and he totally hooked me up. Beautiful, clean, and high quality shop and artistry. I would highly recommend this great new shop in Morro Bay. Cool taxidermy art for sale too.

Such a rad shop!! Couldn’t ask for a better environment to get tattooed in. Brian is the man! Super detail oriented and makes your transition from vision to reality seem insanely easy and seamless. Plus he’s just a great dude all around. 10/10!

The absolute best in town! I have been coming to Brian for the last two years! He is so patient and always makes sure i am comfortable! All I can say is WOW! James at Tiger Monkey is an absolute legend, I got my first hand tattoo from him and it came out amazing! The professionalism and cleanliness of this business is outstanding! The wall art and decor added to the relaxing vibe as well as his machine was quiet as a mouse! No loud buzzing to make me anxious or nervous, and his hand is as light as a feather! Definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for some quality ink! 10/10 Will DEFINITELY be back for more!

My husband I were in the area for our honeymoon and stumbled upon tiger monkey completely by chance and let me tell you it was the best coincidence we could’ve had. We originally came in on a whim to get a random matching tattoo, that had books a plenty with little flash samples to look through and find something, those were a breeze everything was EXTREMELY sanitary, disinfection of space happened right in front of our eyes as well as all equipment coming out of steri-packs right before use. Brian is not only an absolute joy to work with but he’s super attentive to detail and super thorough with the entire process. This was far from our first tattoo so we knew what to expect but a first tattoo with Brian I could see would be so pleasant and enjoyable. It was such a fun vibe while there we actually returned a few days later for something a bit more meaningful to each of us. Both tattoos pictured are memorial pieces that we just described and even I tried to(and failed at) drawing out, Brian grabbed his iPad and got to sketching while we were describing, got down exactly what we were looking for and got to getting it stenciled out and got to work. They came in out better than we could’ve expected. I can’t rave enough about the whole team they have there, a thousand thanks to Brian & Amy for being so warm welcoming and straight up awesome, will always return to tiger monkey when I’m in the area!
