I couldn't find what I wanted the first 5 minutes I was there so I asked someone. What a great experience! I received personal shopper treatment with several employees trying to help both of us locate the peanut butter and jelly flavored M&M's! Because they aren't a humongous chain and are located in our small town, the prices are a bit higher than other places but the people working there make it quite enjoyable and it saves me miles on my car. It's like they are a big family and we're trying to make me a part of it too. It's no wonder I enjoy going back there even though I hate shopping for groceries.

It's the only choice we have in town, some goods aren't bad tho I will say you must check all of the produce you buy, I find especially when I buy berries they mold in the next 3 days or so and the quality isn't usually that great. The meat department is also lacking. The prices are a bit steep also for the quality of goods. If I don't have the means or time to go to kroger or meijer, which are both 12 or so miles away, I suppose it will do.

Nice local good size market. Meat seems good..well stocked with deli. Prices are fair..but can't go anywhere else..better if you sign up for card.

I'm so impressed with VG's Grocery in Marine City! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the store is always clean and well-organized. The selection of fresh produce, meats, and baked goods is amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. I especially love their weekly sales and promotions - I always find great deals on the things I need. The pharmacy staff is also knowledgeable and efficient, and they always take the time to answer my questions and concerns. Overall, I'm so glad to have VG's in my community - it's a great place to shop!

Specific to the pharmacy.
More specifically, the pharmacist.
WiFi went out last night.
I'm at the end of an anaphalactic episode; not feeling gr8, my eyes are badly swollen.
I need to drive 2.5 hrs today for an appt. and really needed to know if the abx was called in.
The connection wasn't clear; I was on with AT&T for an hr this morning trying to get that cleared up.
She hung up on me.
Wow.

I've been shopping at Vg's for the past year. What an incredible family these people are. Everyone of them are so helpful, and kind. The pharmacy is second to none. They are fast, accurate, and as friendly as can be. The prices are great, considering the economy these days. Everything a person needs is all under one roof. The store is always spotless. What a great store to shop in. I was happy to rate this place. Check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed!
