Zarinah is simply amazing. She shares a lot of knowledge about curly hair, every visit is a treat. Polite, funny and very down to earth - she’s worth the long drive these three years. I have been on my natural hair journey for six years. I have turned to the internet and YouTube for advice on how to care for my hair, which has resulted in me not seeing the growth I want, frustrated and unhappy with my hair. After finding Zarinah I am much more confident in my natural hair journey and am learning to accept my hair as it grows out of my scalp. Before meeting Zarinah I would wear my hair in mostly braids or extensions but now I am comfortable rocking my kinky coily hair. On my first appointment with Zarinah she listened to my hair goals and was very attentive. I loved how informed she was about natural hair and how committed she is to making sure that I accept and embrace my natural hair. I did the curl therapy plan and have seen tremendous changes in my natural hair after implementing the regimen and suggestions she’s made for my hair. I get complements all the time when I style my hair the way Zarinah taught me and have recommended every natural who has asked to her shop! If you want to go to a natural hair specialist who is clearly passionate about what she does, and will take great care of your hair, go to Zarinah!! I feel so empowered and I’m so glad that I found her!!!!!
